Brand toolkit

This site will help you correctly use the Testomato brand and logo.

Testomato logo

The Testomato logo is a key part of Testomato brand identity. It should be used consistently across all platforms. Please ensure that the logo is not altered in any way and that it is always displayed in its original colors.

Light and dark

There is a light and a dark version of the logo available. The light version is used on dark backgrounds, while the dark version is used on light backgrounds.

Monochrome logo

We also provide a monochrome version of the logo for use in situations where color is not available or appropriate.

Square and icon

For social media and other platforms where a square logo is required, we provide a square version of the logo, with and without text.

Logo colors

The Testomato logo is primarily red, black, and white. The red color is used for the tomato icon, while the black and white colors are used for the text.

Check colors

We also use a set of colors for the checks (tests) in Testomato. These colors indicate the status of a check, and they are the reference our notification emails and status pages are matched against.

There are two families, because the two jobs are measured differently. A surface is a solid block with text on it — a check tile, an uptime semaphore, the status band in an email. A mark is a small graphical element on whatever is behind it — a status dot or a state icon.

Status surfaces

Every surface ships with the text color that belongs on it. Keep the pairs together; do not put your own text color on a status surface.

Dark theme

In dark theme the surfaces darken and all three take white text.

Status marks

Status dots and state icons sit directly on the page, so they are lifted off the surface colors to clear the 3:1 contrast that WCAG 1.4.11 asks of non-text marks. Use these — not the surface colors — for anything small.

Dark theme

On a dark background the marks brighten instead, for the same 3:1 reason.
