Free JSON-LD Schema Generator

Build a JSON-LD structured-data block for your page without reading the schema.org spec. Pick a schema type, fill in the fields Google cares about, and copy a ready-to-paste <script type="application/ld+json"> tag into your <head>.

What is JSON-LD and why does it matter for SEO?

JSON-LD ("JSON for Linked Data") is the format Google recommends for structured data — extra machine-readable context that describes your page. It powers rich results like product snippets, breadcrumb trails, and the Knowledge Panel. A page with valid structured data is more likely to show up with a richer SERP snippet than a plain one.

How to use this generator

  1. Pick a schema type — Organization for your brand identity, Local Business for a physical location, Article for blog posts, Product for e-commerce, BreadcrumbList for site hierarchy, FAQ Page for a Q&A section.
  2. Fill the fields marked with * — Google's documentation lists them as required for the type. Organization and Article have no required fields, so fill in whatever applies.
  3. Copy the script tag and paste it into your page <head>.
  4. Validate with Google's Rich Results Test — paste the tag, or test the URL once the page is live.

Monitor your structured data after rollout

A JSON-LD block that worked yesterday can break tomorrow — a CMS update strips the tag, a templating change drops a field, an editor pastes plain text where a URL belonged. Sign up to Testomato to monitor the live JSON-LD on your pages and get alerted when the markup disappears, can no longer be parsed, or a property you check — a product's price, an organization's name — stops matching the value you expect.

More on the subject: JSON-LD monitoring explains what Testomato watches, and the write-up walks through the ways structured data breaks in practice.
